Enhance your public speaking skills. Speaking regularly in front of an encouraging and helpful audience is a surefire way to improve your public speaking. You can learn some techniques from books, but there is nothing better than getting up in front of an audience.
Improve your everyday communication skills and overall self-confidence. While Toastmasters is primarily focused on public speaking in front of an audience, the skills that you learn will often spill over into your one-on-one speaking style. Imagine how much easier it is to get up the nerve to ask your boss for a raise when you have overcome your nervousness in speaking to a crowd of 30 strangers!
Expand your circle of friends. Many members have made lasting friendships through participation in our club!
Develop leadership skills. We offer a path to leadership certification with ample opportunity to serve in leadership roles.
Participate in Speaking Contests. Finely hone your public speaking skills by participating one of Toastmasters' regularly scheduled contests. Our club has always had distinguished performers in Toastmasters competitions.
